The basis of the ensemble is stylistic treatment dances, traditions and habits from P\u00fachov\u2018s Valley and Middle V\u00e1h region. The repertoire of the group is complemented by dancing and music from other regions of Slovakia. <\/li><li>The group has about 15-20 performances yearly and has more than 30 members these days.\u00a0P\u00fachov\u2019s folk ensemble V\u00e1h is excited to celebrate their 50th anniversary in 2021. The ensemble works with support from the municipally funded group, The Culture of P\u00fachov (P\u00fachovsk\u00e1 kult\u00fara, s.r.o.) and Civil Association The P\u00fachov\u2019s Folklore Heart (Folkl\u00f3rne srdce P\u00fachov, o.z.).<\/li><li>Some of V\u00e1h\u2019s past achievements include three-time laureate of the International Folklore Festival \u201cWARMIA\u201d (2000, 2001, 2003), in Olsztyn (Poland) and an award at the \u201cROZTOCZE\u201d festival in Tomaszow Lubelski (Poland, 2009). The ensemble won two awards &#8211; for overall scenic impression and musical expression at the 18th International Folklore Festival Velika Gorica (Croatia) in 2018.\u00a0In 2014, the group was assigned between top eight spot in the National Contest of Creative Choreographies of Folk Ensembles in Liptovsk\u00fd Mikul\u00e1\u0161.\u00a0V\u00e1h has also recorded P\u00fachov\u2019s first folklore CD (in 2010) with the help of the local\u00a0children\u2019s ensemble.\u00a0The group visited Croatia, Germany, Sweden, Denmark, France, Italy, Austria, Serbia, Russia and of course\u00a0the Czech Republic, Poland and Hungary.\u00a0<\/li><\/ul>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<ul><li><strong>Presentation of dances, costumes, music:<\/strong><\/li><li>The basis of the ensemble is stylistic treatment dances (e.g. female\u00b4s wedding dance, typical pair dances), traditions and habits from&nbsp;P\u00fachov\u00b4s Valley and Middle V\u00e1h region.
